Turtle Island is honoured to present our research paper "For Our Children's Children: Reactivating First Nations Prosperity" at Yulkuum Jerrang 3rd Victorian Indigenous Economic Development Conference to be held from November 2 to 4, 2011 on the ancestral lands of the Boonwurrung People, Kulin Nation (Melbourne, Australia). Focusing on 'Indigenous Business – Culture, Trade and Entrepreneurship,' Yulkuum Jerrang will: Build the body of knowledge and theory around Indigenous research; Provide trade and networking opportunities for the Indigenous community locally, nationally and internationally; Recognize and celebrate the importance of culture in Indigenous business; Build fundamental business skills.
